Big Projects
Although I usually specialize in shorter videos, occasionally I embark on huge, ambitious video/multimedia projects. Notably, I edited a couple documentaries focusing on important topics. I also managed a small team in creating a game within a game and made a video showcasing it.

I Can't Breathe: A BLM Documentary
This short film was developed as a group project in a documentary course I took my junior year at Bellarmine. We decided to shed some light on the BLM movement, specifically on what some local students were doing to help. I edited the entire film myself, taking interview footage and b-roll from news clips and organizing it in a way that both told a story and had an emotional impact on the audience. I spent an immense amount of time on this and it was screened at Bellarmine. I am proud to have contributed to something meaningful.
Block By Block: Exploring Online Communities
This was my senior capstone project, a documentary on online gaming communities that I presented to an audience and panel. The challenge for this film was to work with people from around the country from my couch, but having done YouTube and collaborated with people online it was no problem. Aside from some clips of myself and b-roll, every shot was filmed in the game Minecraft using shaders, and this idea of getting cinematic in-game was one I was thrilled to explore with my partner, who did the camera work. I directed and edited the documentary, and I am proud to have shared something I've poured my heart into for years. My main goal was to effectively portray a sense of community, and I think I did just that.
How We Made Pokemon in Minecraft
This project started at the beginning of 2021 when some friends and I decided we would push the boundaries of how creative we could be in the game Minecraft. Over three months, I led a team and assigned responsibilities so we could stay on a timeline. The finished product was a brand-new game within Minecraft, and I made this documentary-style behind-the-scenes video to highlight every creative aspect of it. The video was a challenge itself, because I started with only narration and had to produce footage for a 17-minute-long video.
