StageOne

During my final year in college, I had the great opportunity to intern with Louisville's own StageOne Family Theatre. This allowed me to work with professionals to develop my video skills and focus on branding. I was still telling stories, but for StageOne, every clip played a larger role, each connecting to form a brand image.

You can view each of the embedded videos in full screen.

Holy Trinity Promo

One of my biggest projects for StageOne was to highlight the in-school residencies they offered to schools who participated in the program. This one featured Holy Trinity, and I got the chance to personally interview the instructor over Zoom and received clips from the head of school and a student. I was effective in presenting testimonials and portraying the quirky nature of the instructor.

Slaughter Promo

A continuation of the residency showcase, this promo featured another instructor and the principal. The biggest challenge for this one was finding b-roll to cover gaps, which was difficult because I was working remote and couldn't record my own. The title and outro cards and lower-thirds bars are all my own work too.

Promo for WHAS

This promo was designed for local TV station WHAS-11 to promote StageOne's sensory-friendly performances. It features interview footage of a boy with autism and his mother giving testimonials, and also important information on how the nonprofit contributed.

Kid Montage

This series of clips served as a montage of the skilled child actors in StageOne's pre-recorded plays. It was created specifically to be played during a live Q&A stream we hosted on Facebook Live.

Atkinson Award Promo

This promo video was produced for the Barbara Sexton Smith Award ceremony, at which it was presented. I edited together a message from StageOne's Producing Artistic Director and some footage highlighting one of StageOne's plays.

TFE Teacher Promo

This video served as a brief series of clips informing teachers about our Theatre For Everywhere package of plays and how it could benefit their classes. It essentially served as a commercial and was sent to the teacher e-mail list. This was mostly created using Adobe Spark.

Arts Council Promo

This promo video was made for StageOne's Facebook page to promote its involvement in a virtual arts week. One of my earlier works, I had to work with the footage I was given and corrected color and sound to get the product here.

TFE General Promo

This was a slightly different version of the TFE promo but for parents and a more general audience. It was e-mailed to StageOne's mailing list.
